Super Blood Moon

Based on the amount of photographers I saw last night, I wasn't the only one who thought about capturing the Super Blood Moon rising behind the Napa Grape Crusher statue. It wasn't easy as there were light poles, other photographers, and kids playing ball in front of the statue. To top it off, the moon wasn't as big as I wanted nor could I line it up like I intended. And the light on the statue wasn't great, as I couldn't see his face.

Oh well.

I saw some mumblings on Facebook saying that it was Photoshopped. I'm not going to say it wasn't manipulated, but not how others are accusing me of doing. I'm certainly not above Photoshopping an image, but I didn't add in the moon. Heck, you think I would have left in the bird poop if I had taken the time to composite the photo?

As you can see, I fixed the white balance and increased the clarity (contrast). Raw images straight out of the camera need a little boost.
