In the latest issue of the Napa Valley Marketplace, I have some photos of a group of charitable women. I hadn't heard of this group before, but I think it's a brilliantly simple way of giving money to worthy charities. 100 Women Who Care about Napa County is a club of women who give $100 a quarter to a charity of their choosing. Members of a charity are invited to speak in front of the group who then vote who gets the club's money. Each member writes a check on the spot for $100 and gives it to the winning charity. Instantly, they get thousands of dollars. What a great idea!
